Empanadas

And here come the protagonists, my empanadas, which over the years I have been perfecting and adapting to new needs.

Their homemade dough, handcrafted with organic and local old flours, as well as olive oil, is filled with seasonal vegetables, homemade preserves and vegan cheeses that I prepare myself.

You can enjoy them freshly baked or cook them yourself in the oven at home or in your restaurant to offer them to your customers.

Organic Bread

Based on three types of wheat: large spelled, strong brown French wheat and integral xeixa, an endemic variety.

All three come from organic and local cultivation, preserving all the properties of the grain, which is ground in stone.

Its process of long fermentations and manual kneading, together with the contribution of sourdough, improves its digestibility.

Furthermore, to complement the offer and follow the current trend, I make buckwheat and brown rice breads, combined with other gluten-free flours, seeds and seaweed, all of organic origin.

All of them at honest and affordable prices.

I don't say it, they say it...

I never had much sympathy for cornstarch alfajor, they are always dry and the dulce de leche in the filling is insufficient to provide creaminess to that dough. A few days ago a friend came home for dinner and brought, as a dessert, some cornstarch alfajores from Gastronauta Mallorca. I tried them almost resigned, however, these have nothing to do with all the ones I had tried. The dough is crumbly but spongy at the same time, and has the exact amount of dulce de leche. The result, an elixir of sweetness that melts in the mouth and, by the way, goes very well with coffee. !! Congratulations!!

Julieta deeply loves cooking and this is proven by trying one of her desserts or listening to her explain the processes. She is committed to organic and local products. It is truly a pleasure to find these delicacies on the island!

My daughter took communion and this time, we decided to have a family party at our farm in Valldemossa. Gastronauta Mallorca prepared a fingerfood buffet for us, and made sure that both our guests and us enjoyed the event. They truly turned a family reunion into an exquisite experience.
